Job Title: Echo Technician / Cardiac Sonographer

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Echo Technician / Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week assignment in Syracuse, New York. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality cardiac ultrasound imaging services across inpatient and outpatient settings while supporting a collaborative cardiovascular care team.
Responsibilities
- Perform 2-D and 3-D echocardiography examinations
- Conduct Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) studies
- Perform exercise and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms
- Assist with echocardiography procedures within the Heart and Vascular Center
- Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper patient positioning
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing training opportunities
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare teams
Requirements
- Cardiac ultrasound experience required
- RDCS certification through ARDMS or RCS certification through CCI required or eligible
- Current BLS/CPR Certification required
- Strong knowledge of echocardiography procedures and cardiac anatomy
- Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree in a related healthcare field preferred
