Job Title: Echo Technologist (Cardiac Sonographer)
Location: Presque Isle, ME

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Echo Technologist (Cardiac Sonographer) to join a growing healthcare team in the Presque Isle area. This role is ideal for a professional with strong cardiac imaging experience who is looking for a stable, full-time opportunity in a supportive, community-focused environment.

You will play a key role in performing high-quality echocardiograms that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and related cardiac ultrasound procedures
  • Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper documentation of findings
  • Work closely with physicians to support diagnosis and patient care
  • Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper function and quality standards
  • Follow all protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication throughout procedures
Qualifications
  • RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification required
  • Prior experience in cardiac ultrasound/echocardiography preferred
  • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills
