What You Will Do:
- Perform high-quality echocardiograms, including resting, stress, and transesophageal procedures, using GE Vivid E95 and Philips CVX systems.
- Interpret imaging results accurately to support clinical decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and professional standards throughout all procedures.
Required Skills:
- Valid ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification in cardiac sonography.
- Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience performing echocardiograms.
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing over 4000 echocardiographic studies.
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and sonographic principles.
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of EPIC EMR system is a plus.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with neonatal echocardiography.
- Certification or training in IV and UEA contrast administration.
- Additional vascular or cardiovascular technology certifications.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate from an accredited program in cardiac ultrasound/echocardiography.
- Alternatively, educational background in health sciences such as cardiovascular tech, ultrasound, radiologic tech, respiratory therapy, or nursing.
- Prior experience working in inpatient, outpatient, or emergency settings, including OR, cath lab, or EP lab.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on or shortly after April 26, 2026.
- Ability to work 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with one night shift per week.
- Must be able to attend a two-day orientation at TUKHS, followed by Olathe orientation.
- Must maintain current certifications and licenses as specified.
- KU is a nicotine-free facility.

- The position does not require weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities.
