Echocardiographer / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Tech (Physician Clinic - No Weekends!)

• Non-hospital setting
• Monday-Friday 8am-5 pm.
• There is no on-call requirement and they usually finish by 1 or 2pm on Fridays.
• Pay Range: ($29.80-$47.00)
• Permanent Hire

Responsibilities:

• Greets and confirms patients, assists patient with appropriate attire for procedure.
• Explains procedure length, properly positions patient for procedure, and sets expectations along with desired results.
• Selects and utilizes appropriate technical factors for procedure based on body habits, pathology, and body parts.
• Processes completed images ensuring they are of interpretable quality.
• Continues professional development through continuing education programs and in-services.
• Complies with all policies of the system to deliver the highest quality of service.
• Performs Adult Echocardiography and Stress/Echo tests.
• Maintains work logs, provides preliminary reports, and works closely with physicians to ensure protocols are established and met.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Echocardiogram Technology program.
