Schedule: Days l  Full-time | M-F 8a-4:30p

Salary: $45.83-$63.88 per hour

How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Perform complex transthoracic and stress echocardiograms to evaluate cardiac structures, valvular function, and hemodynamics.  
  • Equipment Optimization: Calibrate and adjust ultrasound system settings (gain, depth, compression) and manually manipulate transducers to capture high-resolution diagnostic images. 
  • Protocol Adherence: Position patients accurately and select specific anatomic/technical parameters to meet established diagnostic protocols.
  • Environmental Stewardship: Oversee the cleanliness and organization of specialized procedure rooms, ensuring all sterile supplies and ultrasound gels are stocked and within expiration.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer
      date.
    • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer
      date. Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) also accepted.
    • Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted. Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) also accepted.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Maryland Board of Physicians required.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
