ECI Quality Assurance Coord

Job scope:

Monitor compliance with program metrics through the electronic health record and state electronic system (T-Kids). Ensure services are provided according to HHSC contract standards. Conduct internal audit reviews for the purpose of insuring that contract and Center standards are met. Provide written audit findings to ECI staff and management. Assist with training ECI staff through the Individualized Professional Development Plan for credentialing and documentation including progress notes, consent forms, individual family service plans, etc. Track credentialing training and assist with fidelity reviews. Complete routine satisfaction surveys with families enrolled in the program. Maintain ECI procedures to ensure all documents are up-to-date and relevant.

Education/licensure: Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in an approved field and/or appropriate certification which meets the highest standards of the state and established criteria for professional membership on the ECI Interdisciplinary Team. Professional status includes (but is not limited to) persons who are certified/licensed: speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, educational diagnosticians or fully qualified early intervention specialists.

Current valid driver's license in state of residence is required.

Experience/Knowledge:

Deep understanding of typical and atypical child development from birth to age three.
Familiarity with evidence-based early intervention strategies.
Awareness of family-centered practices and the role of caregivers in child development.

Prefer 3 or more years' experience working in an ECI program and/or in quality assurance.

Ability to gather, assemble, correlate and analyze facts and devise solutions to administrative problems.

Ability to comprehend and implement program goals, objectives and operations.

Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in applying and interpreting unit policies and procedures.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff, administrative personnel and children receiving services and their families.

Strong written and verbal communication skills for staff, families, and external stakeholders.
