Schedule:  Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm with occasional overtime
Job Description eCommerce Inventory Specialist   Position Summary The eCommerce Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring inventory integrity, and optimizing inventory control processes across our eCommerce and 3PL operations. This role supports efficient order fulfillment by aligning physical inventory with system data, minimizing discrepancies, and improving inventory workflows. The position works cross-functionally with Warehouse Operations, Fulfillment, and Customer Service to support inventory accuracy and operational scalability. Essential Duties & Skills
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, receipts, transfers, and consumption across all locations
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify physical inventory against system records and reduce shrinkage
  • Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement
  • Identify and implement appropriate storage solutions for different inventory types
  • Generate and maintain inventory-related reports, including key performance indicators
  • Evaluate inventory processes and workflows; support improvements and system enhancements
  • Collaborate with warehouse and fulfillment teams to support accurate picking, storage, and product flow
  • Support onboarding of new inventory items, including setup, tracking, and storage alignment
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues impacting fulfillment and customer experience
Accountabilities - Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records within warehouse management systems
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage
  • Investigate inventory variances and support root cause analysis
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate risks related to stockouts or overstocking
  • Generate and distribute inventory reports highlighting accuracy, variances, and trends
Process Improvement & Systems Support
  • Evaluate inventory management processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
  • Support enhancements to inventory systems (WMS, ERP, reporting tools)
  • Assist in developing and maintaining inventory SOPs
  • Identify workflow gaps and recommend scalable solutions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with Fulfillment, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teams to ensure inventory accuracy and availability
  • Support the successful introduction of new SKUs by ensuring proper system setup and storage
  • Act as a point of contact for inventory-related issues and resolution

Qualifications - Required
  • 2–5+ years of inventory control, warehouse, or supply chain experience
  • Experience in eCommerce, fulfillment, or 3PL environments preferred
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and inventory systems (WMS/ERP)
  • High attention to detail and accountability for accuracy
Qualifications - Preferred
  • Experience in multi-location inventory management
  • Experience in contract manufacturing or consumer goods
  • Familiarity with eCommerce fulfillment operations
