Product Content Designer

Location: Framingham, Massachusetts
Job Type: W2
Schedule: On-site Monday-Thursday, Remote Friday 
Pay Range: $23 an hour 

Position Overview

As a member of the Product Content team within the Merchandising organization, the Product Content Specialist plays a key role in driving online sales by creating, maintaining, and enhancing product content across company websites. This position partners closely with Category Managers, suppliers, marketing teams, and vendors to ensure an exceptional online customer experience and best-in-class product presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain product content for assigned categories, including new product setup and ongoing content enhancements.
  • Publish accurate and timely product information to support product launches, catalogs, promotional events, and marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain product hierarchies, attributes, keywords, search optimization, and cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with content providers, merchandising teams, assortment managers, vendors, and marketing partners to improve product information and customer experience.
  • Serve as the category content subject matter expert, providing guidance and support on content-related questions and issues.
  • Generate and distribute periodic and ad hoc reporting for assigned product categories.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and content quality.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for content-related inquiries from cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience with eCommerce product content, online merchandising, or Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Background in merchandising, marketing, business management, or a related field preferred.
