Job Description
The Economic Development Manager helps drive the County's efforts to catalyze transformative, place-based development and economic investment. This role is responsible for advancing economic development priorities outlined in the County's 2045 Unified Plan, with a focus on activating key publicly-owned sites, supporting business expansions, and attracting new jobs that contribute to the County's "Daily Community" framework.

The grade for this position is 204. Salary will be dependent on education and experience.
Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in real estate, public administration, economic development, urban planning, or a closely related field; AND
Eight years of progressively responsible experience in economic development, or a closely related field, including two years experience as a manager: OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
Valid Drivers License from state of residency.
