The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of the Canadian economy and the major economic levers of the federal government and the provinces. We'll trust you to:

  • Produce crisp and concise edits on stories that resonate with a wide audience
  • Contribute to our reporting and cultivate sources
  • Move fast, be accurate and think ahead. You'll be involved in stories from the critical first 15 minutes of breaking news all the way to in-depth features and analysis.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across teams and regions
