We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work evening shifts in our Emergency Department. What You Will Do:
Provide direct and indirect patient care, including vital signs, toileting, bathing, and feeding based on patient assignments.
Serve as a safety companion for patients at risk, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Communicate effectively with patients and team members to deliver personalized care.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to respond to changing patient needs.
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold ethical standards and professional development goals.
Demonstrate knowledge of normal growth and development while adapting to individual patient requirements.
Required Skills:
Current New York State CNA certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum of one year of patient care experience.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to maintain patient focus and deliver compassionate care.
Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance.
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in emergency or hospital settings.
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
Additional certifications related to patient safety or specialized care.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of hands-on patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
Other Requirements:
Must be able to work 8-hour evening shifts starting May 1, 2026.
Willingness to pass health screenings and meet all internal employment criteria.
No travel required; local commuting preferred.
