• Active FNE program with RN on-call 24/7 for these cases 
• Bed: 74

• Beds: 21 6 bed annex 

Experience: 2 years

Patient Types:  All ages 

Patient Ratios: 

• RN – 1:4 (Days & Nights) 
• Tech – 1:8 (Days & Nights)

Required Certifications: 

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC/TNS, CPI or MOAB 

Skills required:  Critical care level skill set 

Support on the Unit: 

• Charge nurse – reduced patient assignment 
• Hospitalist in house, 24/7 
• ED MD in house, 24/7 
• HUC, 24/7 
• Phlebotomy to assist with peripheral blood draws 
• Nursing Station Telemetry monitoring without tele tech 

Charting System/Equipment: 

• EMR: EPIC
• IV Pumps: Alaris 
• Med Dispensing: Pyxis 
• Client Monitors 

Floating:  N/A 

Orientation:  At least 1 shift to learn flow 

Scheduling: 

• Weekend rotation: 1 weekend per month 
• Can we approve time off: Up to 7 days
