About The Emergency Department:
The Emergency Department at Montrose Regional Health is a Level III Trauma Center staffed 24 hours per day by Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians and RNs who are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and in Trauma Care.
About The Career:
ED Tech Performs and assists with comprehensive care of patients in the emergency department. Administers certain classes of emergency medications in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the Scope of Practice for Paramedics in the State of Colorado. This position functions under the direct supervision of the Emergency Department Physician, who will be named "Emergency Department Paramedic Medical Director".
All About You:
Education: High School graduate or equivalent with one (1) year experience in acute Hospital setting or in ambulance preferred.
One of the following: Current EMB B with IV skills EMT I or Paramedic or LPN license required
