We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) to join our fastâpaced Emergency Department team. This role is ideal for a Certified Nursing Assistant who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys working collaboratively with nurses and providers, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
The Emergency Department Technician provides support to nurses, physicians, and other clinical staff in the delivery of patient care within the Emergency Department. This role assists with patient assessments, monitors vital signs, prepares patients for procedures, and performs clinical and non-clinical tasks to ensure efficient and safe patient care. Additional responsibilities include basic secretarial/receptionist, housekeeping and general supply duties. The ED Technician contributes to patient flow, infection control, and overall departmental operations while maintaining a compassionate, professional approach to patient interactions in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Oregon Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• At least one (1) year of verifiable work experience as an ED Tech/ED CNA preferred.
• At least two (2) years of verifiable work experience as a CNA preferred.
