Essential Job Duties:

  • Operate edge banding machinery to apply edge material to countertop components.
  • Set up and adjust machine settings for various countertop sizes, materials, and edge profiles.
  • Review production work orders and specifications to ensure accuracy.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, appearance, adhesion, color match, and dimensional accuracy.
  • Trim, sand, and finish edges as needed to meet quality standards.
  • Monitor machine performance and identify operational issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting on equipment.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, and production delays to supervision.
  • Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain production records and documentation as required.
  • Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and company policies.
  • Assist in other production areas as needed to support manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.

 

Required Qualifications:
 
  • Previous manufacturing or woodworking experience preferred.
  • Experience operating edge banding, CNC, woodworking, or similar production equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and production schedules
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
