At Kform, you’ll be the bridge between the physical and digital worlds. As the Edge IoT Systems Architect for Full-Stack Platforms, you’ll shape how connected hardware, networks, compute, applications, data, and AI come together across our product lines and engineering environments.
A day in the life
You start by refining a system diagram for a new connected product—mapping how sensors talk to gateways, how edge computers route to servers, and how apps consume data across cloud, on‑prem, and disconnected sites. By mid‑morning, you’re configuring a managed Ethernet switch, separating traffic with VLANs, standing up DHCP/DNS, and tightening firewall rules. After lunch, you push updates to a Python service that orchestrates device provisioning, review a Rust PR for a reliability‑critical component, and ship a TypeScript UI improvement for operational dashboards. You wrap the day validating telemetry, updating deployment docs, and mentoring a teammate through a tricky integration test.
