The EDI Specialist provides technical support for relational electronic data interchange (EDI) database design, analysis, and operations.
Scope/ Supervision and Interaction:
This position collaborates with Customer Service Reps and members of other functions and does not have direct reports.
Essential Functions:
Compiles and maintains records of EDI account transactions.
Generate reports for management detailing EDI account transaction activities.
Analyzes and develops specifications for enhancements and extensions to EDI application interfaces and maps.
Runs tests, implements, and maintains EDI transactions.
Performs necessary maintenance on EDI system to update records, specifications, and operating procedures of partner systems.
Conducts product evaluations, configurations, and user training.
Stays abreast of EDI product developments
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
2 or more years of EDI experience in a Manufacturing Environment
Experience/knowledge of Order entry and shipping systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
Ability to establish priorities and adapt quickly to changing priorities
Demonstrated leadership aptitude, learning agility, and adaptability
