  • Plan and coordinate daily and weekly production schedules based on inventory needs, sales demand, staffing, ingredient availability, and operational priorities.
  • Supervise, train, coach, and develop kitchen and production employees; assign work, monitor performance, and reinforce consistent production standards and procedures.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Operations leadership on hiring, onboarding, scheduling, attendance, performance management, employee relations, and staffing needs.
  • Ensure recipes, formulations, batch procedures, portioning, and production methods are followed consistently to support product quality, potency, yield, and repeatability.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of applicable OLCC requirements, METRC procedures, company SOPs, food-safety practices, sanitation standards, and regulated cannabis production requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of production records, batch documentation, ingredient usage, cannabis inputs, waste records, transfers, inventory adjustments, and required METRC activity.
  • Coordinate testing, packaging, labeling, and product movement with Quality, Packaging, Warehouse, Distribution, and other operational teams as applicable.
  • Monitor raw materials, ingredients, packaging supplies, and cannabis inputs; communicate purchasing or replenishment needs and help prevent production delays or shortages.
  • Maintain inventory integrity through accurate counts, storage practices, lot/batch tracking, discrepancy research, waste controls, and timely documentation.
  • Ensure kitchen equipment, tools, workstations, storage areas, and production spaces remain clean, sanitary, organized, safe, and audit-ready.
  • Oversee opening, closing, cleaning, sanitation, equipment-use, temperature-control, allergen-awareness, and other kitchen safety procedures established by the Company.
  • Monitor production output, labor utilization, yields, waste, quality concerns, and other performance indicators; identify opportunities to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Investigate and escalate product-quality concerns, production discrepancies, safety events, equipment issues, inventory variances, or potential compliance concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Finance, Human Resources, Compliance, Packaging, Distribution, and other departments to execute production priorities and resolve operational issues.
  • Represent Golden Grail Group with integrity, accountability, professionalism, and a strong commitment to safe and compliant cannabis manufacturing.
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit as required for the position.
  • Three or more years of progressive commercial kitchen, food manufacturing, production, or comparable operations experience.
  • Two or more years of supervisory or management experience, including employee coaching, scheduling, training, and operational decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a production team, establish accountability, manage competing priorities, and meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen sanitation, food handling, workplace safety, production consistency, and quality-control practices.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate production and inventory records in a regulated environment.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and ability to learn company inventory, production, scheduling, communication, and compliance systems.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive production tasks, including lifting and moving materials and supplies, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of OLCC cannabis regulations and METRC tracking requirements related to production, inventory, transfers, and waste.
  • Experience with edible production, recipe scaling, batch consistency, production yields, food safety, sanitation programs, and quality-control processes.
  • Experience managing labor, production schedules, inventory, purchasing needs, waste reduction, and operational performance metrics.
