We are seeking an experienced Wire and Ram EDM Programmer/Operator to join our precision parts manufacturing team.
Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and operate Wire EDM and Ram (Sinker) EDM machines.
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T requirements.
Produce complex, tight-tolerance precision metal components.
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections prior to bring to quality department.
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
Maintain quality and production documentation.
Qualifications:
3+ years of Wire EDM and/or Ram EDM experience.
Ability to independently program, set up, and operate EDM equipment.
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
Experience with precision machining preferred.
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Review daily production schedules and prioritize jobs to meet customer delivery requirements.
Program, set up, and operate Wire EDM and Ram (Sinker) EDM machines.
Create and modify EDM programs from engineering drawings, CAD models, and customer specifications.
Set up tooling, fixtures, electrodes, and workholding for new jobs.
Perform machine offsets and process adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy.Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, indicators, optical comparators, and other precision measuring equipment.
Verify compliance with blueprint requirements, GD&T, and aerospace quality standards.
Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections.Troubleshoot machine, tooling, electrode, and programming issues to minimize downtime.
Document setup parameters, inspection results, and production data.Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to improve processes and reduce cycle times.
Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good operating condition.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and throughput.

3+ years of Wire EDM and/or Ram (Sinker) EDM programming and operating experience.
Ability to independently set up, program, and run EDM equipment.
Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Experience manufacturing tight-tolerance precision components.
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and height gauges.
Ability to troubleshoot machining, setup, and programming issues.
Experience working with aerospace materials such as stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, and high-temperature alloys preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Basic computer skills and experience maintaining production and quality documentation.
Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical degree, apprenticeship, or vocational training in machining/manufacturing preferred.
