What you’ll do

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, models, and product descriptions to determine setups, tooling, and process requirements for EDM operations.
• Set up and operate RAM (sinker) EDM equipment to produce parts to specification.
• Modify G & M codes to improve efficiency and part quality.
• Inspect/verify part conformance using gaging; document results as needed.
• Remove finish marks and perform fitting/assembly tasks, such as punches into punch.
• Communicate setups to other personnel to ensure consistent results.
