Responsibilities:
Set up, program, and operate EDM wire cutting machines to produce precision components
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to meet tight tolerances
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
Perform routine machine maintenance, including wire threading and electrode changes
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
Maintain accurate production logs and documentation for quality control purposes
Follow all shop safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
Requirements:
Prior experience operating EDM wire cutting equipment in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings
Proficiency with precision measuring tools and quality inspection techniques
Familiarity with CNC programming and machine controls is a plus
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to tight tolerances and quality standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced shop environment
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred
