The Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University invites applications for Faculty Associate positions to teach graduate courses in the Doctorate in Regulatory and Clinical Research Management program.
Faculty Associates are one-semester non-benefits-eligible fixed-term appointments with no tenure implications, not to exceed an average of 0.40 FTE per semester. The number of courses is contingent upon unit needs funding and sufficient enrollment. Salary is based on qualifications and assigned teaching load. Faculty Associates may not hold multiple non-benefits-eligible appointments at Arizona State University.
Responsibilities may include in-person and online teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality instruction guiding doctoral students • Contribute subject matter expertise in regulatory affairs and clinical research • Teach graduate-level courses related to regulatory frameworks, clinical trial management, quality assurance, biomedical product development, and other topics in regulatory and clinical research management • Develop and deliver course content that aligns with program learning objectives • Manage Canvas Course Shell, maintain course materials, announcements, and communication within the learning platform • Foster an inclusive, engaging, and rigorous learning environment for multicultural doctoral students • Provide timely, constructive feedback and academic support to students • Support Student Development, encouraging and assisting students in their academic career and personal growth • Adhere to University College and Department policy and procedures, including student privacy, FERPA, student engagement, and support for academic integrity, student code of conduct, and grading policies • Participate in curriculum review and continuous program improvement initiatives as needed • Collaborate with program faculty and leadership to ensure the highest standards of academic integrity and excellence • Maintain current knowledge of evolving regulations, standards, and best practices in regulatory science and clinical research.

Complete Onboarding & Training Participate in all required preparation activities before teaching.
