We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Education and Outreach Specialist to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary One Community team in the Southeast Region of the Trillium service area designed to increase access to care, health literacy, health awareness, and education
The Education and Outreach Specialist serves as a bridge between community members and providers through outreach and education across the Southeast Region Trillium counties.
The Education and Outreach Specialist provides support to the team by attending community events that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
Flexibility is essential to accommodate community events outside of standard business hours
This is a
community-based position
and candidates must reside in
CravenCounty
You must be comfortable traveling to the following counties: Craven, Lenoir, Green, Pitt, Beaufort and Pamlico and surrounding counties
Applicant must reside in Craven County
This position requires applicants to be comfortable speaking with community members of diverse backgrounds and work at festivals including Mum Fest, Pride and Juneteenth
Management preference: Experience with the unhomed population and/or community-based experience
