Education Coach, Transitional Scholars Program (Part-Time)

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Support the inclusion and success of students with disabilities in academic and campus settings;

Attend classes with student(s) and provide individualized support as needed;

Assist students in developing effective study skills, learning strategies, and academic habits;

Help students access college resources and services;

Foster student independence while providing guidance with social, communication, and functional life skills;

Encourage appropriate college expectations, behaviors, and self-advocacy;

Collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, supervisor, and other members of the support team;

Submit weekly progress updates to supervisor;

Maintain confidentiality of all students' educational records and information;

Provide coverage for fellow Educational Coaches when needed;

Perform other related duties as assigned.
