Location: Phoenix AZ 85008
Schedule: 1-5 hours a month/On-call, as needed for guidance and advice
Employment Type: 1 year-Contract/Part-TimeWhat's a typical month as a Program Strategist Specialist? You will:
  • Oversee and provide expert guidance on special education programming for eligible patients under age 22.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate special education services to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements, including IDEA.
  • Review patient records, conduct interviews, and assess educational needs.
  • Develop and document Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and curriculum for qualifying patients.
  • Support and advise teaching staff, participate in treatment planning, and maintain required records and reports.
  • Ensure all educational activities align with state and federal laws and best practices.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (required)
  • Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field (required)
  • Substantial experience in special education, ideally in a hospital or psychiatric setting
  • Expertise in IEP development, education law, and curriculum planning
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Commitment to providing guidance and support as needed
