Location: Austin, Texas Employment Type: Full Time / Contract
The Educational Diagnostician supports Elgin ISD students by delivering high-quality educational or related services, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in ARD/IEP processes, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs).
Administer academic and cognitive assessments.
Determine eligibility for special education.
Prepare evaluation reports.
Participate in ARD meetings.
Consult with educators and families.
Maintain documentation.
Ensure regulatory compliance.
Support student success.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Certifications
Master's degree with Texas Educational Diagnostician certification.
Preferred Qualifications
School district experience.
Knowledge of IDEA and Section 504.
Excellent assessment skills.
