  Key Responsibilities:<\/b>

  • Provide accurate, culturally appropriate ASL interpretation for students, teachers, and school staff.<\/span>

  • Support students in various classroom and school -related settings.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Manage multiple school assignments each week, with flexibility to meet scheduling needs.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in accordance with educational interpreting standards.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Collaborate effectively with educators and other interpreters in a team -oriented environment.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Be well -prepared for each assignment, with an understanding of the context and relevant vocabulary.<\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>

    Required Qualifications:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    • No formal certification is required; however, a video test will be requested.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Previous experience in educational interpreting, preferably in K -12 settings.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Availability to work consistently during weekdays and flexibility to travel between schools.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong punctuality and attendance record.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • A positive reputation within the local interpreting or educational community.<\/span>
      <\/li>
