- Current National Sign Language Interpreter Certification
- Previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in K-12 schools preferred
- Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

- Positive, professional attitude with a commitment to inclusivity
Key responsibilities include:- Facilitating clear and effective communication between students, staff, and the school community
- Supporting instructional activities by interpreting classroom discussions, assignments, and announcements
- Assisting with extracurricular events, meetings, and parent conferences as needed
- Maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and impartiality in all interpreting assignments
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to ensure students' needs are met
- Providing input to help adapt materials and approaches for optimal learning
