Day to Day
Implement a variety of instructional strategies during community-based learning.
Follow the direction of the Special Education Teacher regarding the implementation of program accommodations and their development in the workplace.
Assist in the development of community-based job sites in collaboration with community contacts, site supervisors, and under the supervision of the Transition Specialist and Special Education Teacher.
Communicate student progress with teachers, BCBA and related service providers.
Qualifications
Must have earned an associate degree or higher OR achieve a passing score on the ETS ParaPathways Assessment.
Strong communication skills.
Experience working with children or adolescents in school or educational settings preferred.
Skilled in data collection practices.
Experience working with teens or adults with autism or emotional/behavioral challenges and their families preferred.
