POSITION: Para-Educator, Special Education - 1.0 FTE

Weston Middle School

Job Goal: To work with individual students or small groups to help achieve skill levels set in IEPs and to support students in gaining maximum benefit from the districts special education program

Qualifications:

• High school diploma & two years of post-secondary education
• Experience working with children; prior experience as a para-educator preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Capable of establishing positive and productive working relationships with teachers and students

POSITION AVAILABILITY: August 25, 2026

TERMS: Per the contract between the Weston Board of Education and Local 1303-110 of Council 4 AFSCME
