Position Overview

Portland Public Schools is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and person-centered Paraeducator / Job Coach to support young adults with disabilities (ages 18-22) in our post-secondary transition program. This individual will be a part of the paraeducator bargaining unit.

In this role, you will work directly with students in authentic community settings-including local businesses, non-profits, and municipal sites-helping them develop vocational skills, independence, workplace etiquette, and self-advocacy. • Data Collection & Progress Monitoring: Keep accurate daily logs on student progress toward Individualized Education Program (IEP) transition goals, behavior plans, and vocational benchmarks.
