Located in an idyllic setting in the northernmost corner of Fairfield County, Connecticut, The Sherman School is a small PK-8 school with approximately 230 students and 60 dedicated faculty and staff members. We offer small class sizes and wonderful resources to support our programs.
Title Paraprofessional
Reports to Director of Special Education
Days and Hours Monday through Friday 22-29 total hours per week
Salary $21.59 per hour
There are no medical benefits associated with this position.
Key Responsibilities • Assist students with instruction under the direction of the special education teacher • General education teacher • Assist classroom teacher in monitoring student behavior and records behavior data when required by the IEP • Provides accommodations and modifications as specified by the IEP • All other duties as assigned by administrator
