Job Description:

POSITION: Special Education Paraprofessional -Part Time

START DATE: 08/25/26

Shared Services has an opening for a part-time paraprofessional to work at Colebrook Consolidated School, Monday-Friday 9:00-1:00 for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Interested candidates must have the following qualifications:

• Associates Degree or equivalent or successful completion of ParaPro Assessment
• Experience working within the school setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and under the supervision of program teacher
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding assigned students.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Prior experience working with special needs students preferred
• Professional demeanor
