Special Education Paraeducator - Job Coach

10-month position

Schedule

Monday - Friday 9:45 - 2:15pm

Hourly Rate 19.37 per bargaining unit contract

Must have an academic degree or have earned at least 60 college credits or have passed the ParaPro assessment

Example of Essentials Duties

Assists the teacher in establishing and maintaining a safe nurturing and developmentally appropriate classroom environment

Provides on-site vocational training and supervision to support student independent work skills development

Provide specific modifications and/or accommodations for assigned students. This can include repeating directions performing task analysis reading assignments or tests document instructions and organize homework assignments.
