Kindergarten Paraprofessional

Jerome Harrison School

WORK YEAR

Approximately 32.5 hours weekly

SALARY

As specified in the Agreement between the North Branford Board of Education and the North Branford Federation of Paraprofessionals.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• support classroom instruction in regular education setting;
• maintain and report student records;
• communicate with classroom teachers regarding student progress.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of high school diploma; experience working with young children required (kindergarten is preferable);
• Must meet or be eligible to meet ESSA requirements for paraprofessionals;
• Course work in elementary education preferred.
