POSITION: Paraeducator Substitutes
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred
SALARY: $127.50 per diem (full day) $63.75 (half day) (Based on 2026-2027 approved sub rate)

Hebron Public Schools is looking for energetic and motivated Paraeducator substitutes to work with district teachers and assist in the delivery of instructional and related services for students, knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing in reading, writing and mathematics.

Supervision/Evaluation: Works under the direction and supervision of the Principal.
Position Summary:
Paraeducators are required to work with students with special needs under the direction of a special education case manager to assist in the implementation of IEP goals and objectives. Supports and works in cooperation with the Principal, Director of Special Education, and assigned teacher in performing the varied tasks which must be dealt with in a classroom, cafeteria, playground, and throughout the school. The ideal candidate has prior experience in this role, and is flexible to adapt to the changing nature of the demands of the class. They will work closely with an assigned teacher and support them in their duties. Typical tasks include working with students in groups and individually during lessons, assisting with lesson plans and materials.
