Position Goal: To work as a team to support AVID students and assist the AVID elective teachers with facilitation of student-led collaborative study groups known as tutorials The AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) Program, is a nation-wide, research-based program that provides academic support and college preparation for students in the academic middle. Students engage in an application and interview process to be enrolled into the program. Students gain support in the AVID elective classes that provide a structured curriculum in the areas of study habits and organization, critical thinking and engagement, college preparation, and literacy.

Compensation: Starting at $20.00/hour.
