Educational Support Professional Position Type: Full Time .8 Location: Early Childhood Development Center - Oak Street Reports to: Building Principal Salary: As per FEA ESP Contract This position qualifies for town benefits, including Health Insurance General Description: The Franklin Public Schools, a prek-12 district, is seeking a skilled and experienced Educational Support Professional (ESP) to join the preschool team at the Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC). The ESP will work with lead teacher in a model of service delivery offering learning, academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and physical support to children with and without disabilities in integrated classrooms. Overview of Responsibilities: Provide positive behavior supports and interventions for children with and without disabilities Work with lead teacher to provide academic, social, and emotional support and intervention Work collaboratively with early childhood team of teachers and therapists Collect data Qualifications Required: Associates degree or higher or ParaPro Certification preferred Experience in early childhood/special education Experience working with children with Autism and other developmental disabilities required Able to take initiative and work independently Knowledge of early childhood development ABA experience preferred Must successfully pass Criminal Offender (CORI) background check and national fingerprinting screening (CHRI).
