General Summary:

  • Silver Spring Intermediate School

  • Grades 5-6

  • 5.75 hours/day, 5 days/week

  • 8:15 am- 2:30 pm

  • One position available

Position Goal: To assist the teacher or other certified personnel in achieving teaching objectives by working with students with special education needs in special education classroom and/or small group settings. Other responsibilities include supporting students with special needs in the general education classroom, facilitating effective communication between the special and general education teaching staff, and assisting students with special needs with medical and/or daily living needs.

Compensation: Starting at $20.50/hour.
