Requirements / Qualifications

POSITION AVAILABLE: EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM - 261 days - District Office QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Experience in using a wide variety of computer applications such as: presentation programs, word processing, databases, spreadsheets, longitudinal data systems (PowerSchool & CALPADS). Any combination of experience & training that would provide the knowledge & abilities or equivalent may be accepted. 2. Valid California Administrative Services Credential, Teaching Credential or other appropriate credential. 3. Provide new & on-going application work & training in support of student learning. 4. Organize & coordinate the preparation & operating procedures for data to be uploaded to various systems; prepare & develop new data layouts & mapping; upload data to the applicable District s data system. 5. Supervise & evaluate the performance of assigned staff; interview & select employees & recommend transfers, reassignment, termination & disciplinary actions. 6. Provide technical support in other educational technology & instructional program areas; assist with implementation of procedures & programs. Develop & maintain documentation for system configurations, data processes, & troubleshooting procedures. 7. Works collaboratively with the Curriculum & Instruction Department staff, site staff & Information Technology Services staff to assist with evaluating & implementing new technology applications. 8. Maintain appropriate records, inventory, & budgets as specified in related law, policy & procedures. 9. Assist & monitor implementation & adapt to instructional technology implementation. Assist & support the data team with state & federal data reporting (e.g., CALPADS, Office of Civil Rights Report). Perform related duties as assigned. 11. Possession of a valid CA Motor Vehicle License at all times.
