Voya Financial Advisors®, Inc., a leading independent broker-dealer in the defined contribution & defined benefit business, is currently seeking a Junior Advisor in the Minneapolis area to partner with a Senior Advisor to assist on existing business as well as generate new business.
To be eligible for the Financial Advisor role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Registered Representative with experience working with retail clients, assessing and reviewing information to assist in their retirement goals
- Knowledge and understanding of the defined contribution marketplace
- Securities registrations – Series 6 and Series 63 (7 & 66 preferred)
- Life & Health Insurance Licenses
- 2 Years proven sales track record
Qualified candidates are expected to have the following skills:
- Knowledge of rules/regulations around contribution limits, loans, withdrawals, vesting, and plan documents
- Territory management and business development
- Relationship building
- Fund knowledge and product/pricing knowledge
