Responsibilities:
Oversee daily site operations to ensure a safe, nurturing, and EEC-compliant learning environment
Supervise, mentor, and support classroom teachers and program staff
Ensure compliance with Massachusetts EEC licensing regulations and program standards
Build and maintain positive relationships with families, staff, and community partners
Monitor and support curriculum implementation aligned with early childhood best practices
Manage site-level administrative duties including scheduling, documentation, and reporting
Lead staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing training initiatives
Requirements:
Massachusetts Lead Teacher, EEC Director I or Director II certification required
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an early childhood education leadership role
Strong knowledge of EEC licensing standards and Massachusetts childcare regulations
Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership skills
Experience with curriculum planning and child development frameworks (e.g., NAEYC, Head Start)
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
