The electroencephalographic (EEG) technician uses diagnostic testing procedures with an electroencephalograph machine to measure the electrical activity of the brain, spinal cord, the peripheral nerves, or the somatosensory systems.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
Licenses and Certifications
*HEALTHCARE PROVIDER (CPR)
Qualifications
*1 year certificate from a program accredited by the American Society of Electro-neurodiagnostic technologists preferred by not required.
