The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidates educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Job Overview: The EEG Technician is responsible for performing EEG tests when requested by a physician. As part of the testing process, an EEG Technician will gather a patients medical history, explain testing procedures, and prepare the patient for the procedure. During testing, the EEG Technician monitors the patients status and notes any abnormalities. After testing is complete, the EEG Technician reports their findings to the patients doctor for further analysis.

Qualifications: Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Board registration within one (1) year from date of hire required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required

Preferred:

• Prior EEG Technician experience strongly preferred

Essential Functions:

• Performing EEG tests when requested by a physician
• Gathering a patients medical history
• Explaining testing procedures
• Preparing the patient for the procedure
• Monitoring the patients status and noting any abnormalities
• Reporting findings to the patients doctor for further analysis
