Position: EEO Investigator Department: Equal Opportunity / Office of Legal Affairs Location: New York, NY 10041 Duration: 08/31/2026 – 10/24/2026 | 8 Weeks Schedule: Monday–Friday | 37.5 Hours/Week | 9:00 AM–5:30 PM Work Arrangement: Hybrid — 3 days onsite and 2 days remote; travel to NYC healthcare facilities as needed. Pay Rate: $65/hr. on W2
Required Experience
Substantial experience conducting investigations.
4+ years of experience conducting EEO-related investigations.
Experience handling workplace discrimination and harassment cases.
Familiarity with federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws.
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare/hospital setting.
Education
Bachelor's Degree required.
Juris Doctor (JD) preferred.

Ability to quickly synthesize information, distill critical issues, and formulate recommendations considering risks, benefits, and alternative perspectives.

Ability to report to various healthcare facilities throughout New York City to provide targeted, timely, and productive support for the Office of EEO as necessary.
Job Summary
Through the supervised efforts of the Office of Legal Affairs, the EEO Investigator is responsible for investigating internal complaints of discrimination, including claims of sexual harassment, and supporting the System's compliance with federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws to ensure equal opportunity within the terms, conditions, and privileges of employment.
Job Responsibilities
Investigate internal complaints of discrimination, including claims of sexual harassment.
Maintain the System's compliance with federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws.
Provide an internal avenue of redress through the investigation and resolution of complaints involving unlawful employment discrimination and harassment.
Assist with other assignments and special projects as required.
