Description
Duties:
- Investigate internal complaints of discrimination, including claims of sexual harassment, maintaining the System's compliance with all federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws to ensure equal opportunity within the terms, conditions, and privileges of employment;
- Providing an internal avenue of redress through the investigation and resolution of complaints of unlawful employment discrimination and harassment
Skills:
- 4+ years of experience conducting EEO related investigations
- Substantial experience in conducting investigations
- Strong writing skills
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws. EEO Investigator with experience handling workplace discrimination and harassment cases, with strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Strong investigative skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills required. Adept at quickly synthesizing
- Must be able to report to various healthcare facilities throughout New York City to provide targeted, timely, and productive support for the Office of EEO as necessary
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Juris Doctor (JD) preferred.
Shift:
- 55 Water Street, plus facilities (not ongoing only if needed) and Hybrid with 3days being onsite and 2days remote
- 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- 37.50 hours/weekly
- 5 days/week
