Pay Rate:  $2,639.38 – $2,889.38 per week (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced EEO Investigator to investigate workplace discrimination and harassment complaints, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws, and support the Office of Legal Affairs in maintaining equal employment opportunity standards.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate internal complaints of discrimination, including sexual harassment and other unlawful employment practices, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws and equal employment opportunity requirements.

  • Conduct impartial investigations, gather and analyze evidence, interview complainants, respondents, and witnesses, prepare investigative findings, and facilitate the resolution of employment discrimination and harassment complaints.

  • Provide an internal avenue of redress for employees by resolving Equal Employment Opportunity matters while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and regulatory compliance.

  • Assist the Office of Legal Affairs with special assignments, projects, and other Equal Employment Opportunity initiatives as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience conducting Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) investigations.

  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local anti-discrimination and employment laws.

  • Strong investigative, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information, formulate recommendations, and navigate a large organizational structure.

  • Ability to travel to healthcare facilities throughout New York City and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare or hospital environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) preferred.
