Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $2,639.38 – $2,889.38 per week (Based on Experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced EEO Investigator to investigate workplace discrimination and harassment complaints, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws, and support the Office of Legal Affairs in maintaining equal employment opportunity standards.
Responsibilities
Investigate internal complaints of discrimination, including sexual harassment and other unlawful employment practices, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws and equal employment opportunity requirements.
Conduct impartial investigations, gather and analyze evidence, interview complainants, respondents, and witnesses, prepare investigative findings, and facilitate the resolution of employment discrimination and harassment complaints.
Provide an internal avenue of redress for employees by resolving Equal Employment Opportunity matters while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and regulatory compliance.
Assist the Office of Legal Affairs with special assignments, projects, and other Equal Employment Opportunity initiatives as required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 4 years of experience conducting Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) investigations.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local anti-discrimination and employment laws.
Strong investigative, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information, formulate recommendations, and navigate a large organizational structure.
Ability to travel to healthcare facilities throughout New York City and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare or hospital environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) preferred.
