Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled EFDA Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their visits. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. 

Responsibilities:


  • Assist the dentist during various procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics.
  • Prepare and maintain the treatment area by ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
  • Perform medical imaging as required, ensuring accurate positioning and quality of images.
  • Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Take and record vital signs of patients prior to procedures.
  • Educate patients on post-operative care and proper oral hygiene practices.
  • Manage patient records and assist with scheduling appointments as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards within the dental practice.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is essential.
  • Familiarity with infection control practices in a clinical setting.
  • Experience with medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of various dental systems and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
