This role will support plant operations and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations during a short-term expansion project.
Position overview:
The EHS Consultant will maintain plant environmental health and safety data management systems while overseeing regulatory documentation and compliance. This role will assist with the completion of regulatory reports for EPA, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies. Responsibilities include tracking, reporting, and analyzing safety and environmental performance metrics, supporting sustainability initiatives, and maintaining environmental health and safety action registers. The consultant will also participate in plant environmental and safety committees and develop and maintain training plans in collaboration with vendors and department leaders.
Skills Required:
- Environmental, Health & Safety compliance knowledge
- Regulatory reporting (EPA, OSHA)
- Data tracking and performance metrics analysis
- Advanced organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with limited guidance
Skills Preferred:
- Construction safety experience
Experience Required:
- 5-7 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety Compliance in a manufacturing environment
Experience Preferred:
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
