You'll be involved in every aspect of operations as we rapidly expand across Los Angeles and beyond!About the Role:We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to support and maintain company-wide health, safety, and compliance programs across multiple operational sites. This role will work closely with the HR Generalist and Operations teams to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, workers' compensation procedures, workplace safety initiatives, and drug testing programs.The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and experienced in safety coordination within warehouse, fleet, transportation, or logistics environments.What You'll Do:Health & Safety ComplianceSupport and maintain company health & safety programsEnsure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and workplace safety regulationsConduct routine site safety inspectionsAssist with incident investigations and corrective action plansMaintain safety records, logs, and required compliance documentationCoordinate and track employee safety trainings and certificationsWorkers' Compensation AdministrationManage workers' compensation claims and documentationCoordinate with insurance carriers, medical providers, and employees throughout the claims processConduct safety audits related to workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programsMonitor injury trends and recommend preventative safety measuresDrug TestingCoordinate TrustLine applications and Live Scan fingerprinting processes as neededServe as onsite collector for drug testing as neededMaintain confidential testing records and compliance proceduresEnsure all testing supplies and procedures are properly maintainedSafety Audits & InspectionsPerform regular safety auditsIdentify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actionsAssist with implementing and enforcing company safety policies and proceduresConduct follow-up inspections to ensure compliance improvements are completedAccount & Vendor ManagementSupport relationships with workers' compensation, drug testing, and safety vendorsCoordinate scheduling and communication with third-party providersAssist with maintaining service agreements and compliance recordsWhat You'll Bring to the Table:2+ years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, HR compliance, workers' compensation, or a related fieldKnowledge of OSHA and California workplace safety regulationsExperience managing workers' compensation claims preferredExperience coordinating drug & alcohol testing programs preferredStrong organizational and communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google WorkspaceAbility to handle confidential information professionallyBonus Points For:Experience in transportation, logistics, warehouse, or fleet operationsOSHA certification or safety-related certification preferredPhysical Requirements:Ability to walk garage depot floors and conduct onsite inspectionsAbility to lift up to 25 lbs occasionallyBenefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and company holidaysCareer growth opportunities within a fast-growing fleet operations companyEqual Opportunity Employer:8Fleet is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
